Louama Heard Currie

  Funeral services for Mrs. Louama Heard Currie, 98, of Fort
Worth, Tex., were held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, July 23, at
Shannon's Funeral Home in Fort Worth.

  Burial and graveside service was Saturday, July 24, at Belmont
Cemetery near Marthaville, under the direction of Drewett Funeral
Home of Mansfield.

  She died at 9:58 a.m., Wednesday, July 21, at the Autumn Years
Nursing Home in Fort Worth, where she had resided for the past
two years. Mrs. Currie, a native of Bernice, a former resident of
Mansfield, had lived in Fort Worth seven years. She was a member
of the Baptist Church.

  Mrs. Currie is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mozelle Engart of
Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Laverna Ramsey of Fort Worth; one
brother, Otis Heard of Marthaville; 3 grandchildren; 8 great
grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
