The Rev. Oliver H. Prothro, retired Baptist minister, officiated. Burial and graveside service was at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, At Pisgah Cemetery in Marthaville, conducted by the Rev. Abe Conerly of Marthaville Methodist Church. Mrs. Curry, born in Marthaville, and a resident of Shreveport 37 years, died Saturday, July 23, at Schumpert Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was a former school teacher, and has been a Shreveport real estate agent since 1946. She was a lifelong member of Marthaville Baptist Church. She is survived by one brother, Ray J. Rains of Marthaville, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Harold Rains, Paul Rains, Roger Rains, Joyce Berry, Jimmy Anderson, and Jewel David Berry. Honorary pallbearers were William M. Rains, Frank Graham, Buster Robbins, and Weldon Innis.
