Interment was in Coax Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Joe Joyner officiating. A native of Homochitto, Miss., she was born Oct. 24, 1896. She was a housewife. She died on March 9, 1984, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include two sons, Ernest Woodrow Curry, Florien, and Julius Perry Curry, Lake Havasu, Ariz.; three brothers, Louis Linder, and Arvel Linder, both of Winnsboro, and Arthur Linder, Rayville; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were J. W. Dean, Ray Tatum, Scott Wiggers, Mirt Girod, Howard Guimbellot, and Joe Daughty.
