Mrs. Betty Ruth Garner Carhee (Photo)

  Services for Mrs. Betty Ruth Garner Carhee, 51, of Many, were
held at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Many, Louisiana,
January 17, 1987. Interment was at the New Jerusalem Cemetery,
under the direction of Jenkins Funeral Home. Mrs. Carhee departed
this life Wednesday, January 14, 1987.

  She is survived by one son, Mr. Herbert Garner, Houston, Tex.; a
granddaughter, Rasheeda Garner, Washington D. C.; two brothers,
Mr. Arthur Garner, Tomball, Tex., and Mrs. Elvin Garner, Many,
La.; three sisters, Mrs. Syporia Turner, Duncanville, Tex., Mrs.
Obeda Binks, and Mrs. Willie Kennedy, Many, La.; two aunts, Mrs.
Celeste Hightower, and Mrs. Inez Newton, Many, La.; two uncles,
Mr. T. A. Maxie, Mr. Robert Garner, Many, La.; and a host of
nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
