Sam J. Craig

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28, in the Warren
Meadows Funeral Chapel, for Sam J. Craig, 71, who died in a Converse
Hospital, after a sudden illness. The Rev. Walker Ledford officiated
at the services, with burial in the Zwolle Cemetery.

  Survivors include his widow; six sons, Jerry Craig of Many, O. D.
Craig of Florien, Franklin Craig, Charlie Craig, Herman Craig, and Joe
Craig, all of Zwolle; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Pleasant of Norfork,
Va., Mrs. Dottie Wilber of Imperial Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Margie Bison
of Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Emma Fox of Mansfield; 20 grandchildren,
and four great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Johnnie Meshell, Freddie Nash, Robert Mahaffey, W. J.
Mahaffey, Kenneth Rivers, and Raymond Prewitt.
