Interment was in Many cemetery at 2 p.m. Rev. Roberts officiated, assisted by Rev. R. T. Pynes, Massingill funeral home in charge. Mrs. Craig died at the Baptist hospital, Alexandria, after a long illness. She was the relict of Dr. J. W. Craig, Sr., of Many, formerly of Alexandria, also the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Compton of Alexandria. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. J. S. Middleton of Alexandria, Miss Lida Sue Craig of Many, PhM John Wm. Craig, U.S. navy; two stepdaughters, Mrs. W. H. Sullins of Henryetta, Okla. and Mrs. O. T. Pennell of Beaumont, Texas; two brothers, Maddox and Taylor Compton of Alexandria, grandchildren, Cpl. Joel Middleton, Jr., Randolph and Ursula Mariam Middleton; two step-grandchildren, Lt. Homer Sullins, army air force and John William Sullins. Pallbearers at Many cemetery were, J. B. Vandegaer, J. J. Blake, J. M. Belisle, Robert Jackson, Maddox Compton, Taylor Compton, Randolph Middleton and J. W. Warren.
