Enoch Cross Sr.

  Funeral services for Deacon Enoch Cross, Sr. of Many, were held
Sunday, May 31, at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church, beginning at
2 p.m. Wake was at 7 p.m., at the Jenkins Funeral Home.

  Mr. Cross died Monday, May 25, in Leesville, following a lengthy
illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Enoch Cross Sr.; six
children, Enoch Cross Jr. of Many, Argerine Smith of Leesville,
Ardie Williams of DeRidder, K. D. Cross of Los Angeles, Calif.,
Sidney Cross of Pomona, and Oscar Cross, also of Los Angeles; one
sister, Lula Palmer of Many; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Cross was 91 years of age.
