The Rev. Ray Pennfield, and the Rev. Ray Jenkins officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Plans were under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield. He died Saturday, May 14, 1983, at his residence in Mitchell, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma Lewis Craig of Mitchell; one son, Billie Ray Craig of Camden, Ark.; two daughters, Mrs. Merle June Rains of Victoria, Texas, and Mrs. Mildred Robles of Houston, Texas; three brothers, John Allen Craig of Bossier City, Cecil B. Craig of Converse, and Sam Craig of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. Gertie Free of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Estelle Blankenship of Alexandria, and Mrs. Marie Lewis of Andrew, Texas; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Pallbearers were W. G. Copeland, Odis Emmons, A. A. Grice, G. L. Pattison, Frederick Craig, Curtis Ray Craig, Glen Craig, Talton McDonald.
