Cecil Bernice Craig

  Services for Mr. Cecil Bernice Craig, 74, of Converse, were held
at 2 p.m., Friday, July 13, at the Fellowship Baptist Church in
Converse. The Rev. Ray Jenkins officiated. Burial was in Oak
Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home in
Mansfield.

  Mr. Craig, a retired oilfield worker, died Wednesday, July 11,
at DeSoto General Hospital in Mansfield, after a sudden illness.
He had been a resident of Converse for 45 years.

  He is survived by his widow, Vivian Colton Craig of Converse;
three children, Cecil Fred Craig of Zwolle, Glen Ralph Craig of
Shreveport, and Carolyn Sue Craig of Dallas, Texas; 9
grandchildren; two brothers, John Craig of Bossier City, Sam
Craig of Keithville; two sisters, Mrs. Gertie Free of Pleasant
Hill, and Clarice Lewis of Andrews, Tex.
