Mrs. Maggie Knott Cross

  Mrs. Maggie Knott Cross, 92 yrs. old, died at Spring Lake Guest
Care Center in Shreveport, La., on Saturday, July 8, 1989, of
natural causes. She was a native, and resident of Sabine Parish,
La., for over 60 years. She was a charter member of Jennings
Chapel Methodist Church near Marthaville, La.

  Services were held at Noble United Methodist Church on July 10,
1989, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Richard Teeter, and Rev. Orville Behm
officiating. Burial was at Noble Cemetery, under the direction of
Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel.

  Survivors include one son, Onnie B. Cross and wife Margaret
Cross of Shreveport; one daughter, Maurine Gibson and husband
Williams Gibson of Noble, La.; six grandchildren; 14 great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Pallbearers were family members.
