Elva Crooks

  Funeral services for Mrs. Elva Crooks, 76, were held at 10 a.m.,
Wednesday, Nov. 27, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father
Danny Walsh officiating. Interment followed in St. Joseph
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Crooks died Sunday, Nov. 24, at Schumpert Medical Center in
Shreveport.

  She is survived by five sons, Ray Crooks of Zwolle, Charles
Crooks of Houston, Texas, Louis Crooks of Zwolle, Freddie Crooks
of Shreveport, and Robert Crooks of Crosby, Texas; four
daughters, Cleo Ezernack, Ella Garcie, Joyce Dew, all of Zwolle,
and Linda Lewis of Shreveport; two sisters, Edna Sepulvado, and
Mary Leone of Zwolle; and one brother, Tyne Laroux of Zwolle.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Crooks; and one
son, Harold Crooks.
