The Sabine Index - September 7, 1988

  Mrs. Lillie Bell Craig

  Mrs. Lillie Bell Craig, 74, died at her residence in Robeline,
La. on Sept. 2, 1988.

  Services were held at New Cedron Baptist Church on Sunday, Sept.
4, at 2 p.m. with Rev. James Ray Coburn officiating. Burial was
at Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Craig was preceded in death by her husband, Dempsie Craig
and one daughter, Geneva Craig.

  Survivors included three brothers, Johnson Howell of Vowells,
Mill, Ernest Howell of Victoria, Tx. and J. L. Howell of Vowells
Mill; three sisters, Mae Parker of Vowells Mill, Bernice Chism of
Houston, Tx. and Joyce Howell of Houston, Tx.; numerous nieces
and nephews and many friends.
