All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Gussie Creasy (Photo) Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Creasy, 82, the former Gussie Busby, were held at 2:30 p.m., at Wayne Khoury Memorial Chapel, at David Mortuary, with the Rev. A. W. Smart officiating. Interment was at 2 p.m., Monday, in the Zwolle Cemetery in Zwolle. She was a member of the Eastern Star, which she joined in Zwolle in 1938. She served as a worthy matron of the organization in 1979, and received her 25 and 50 year pins while an active member of the Zwolle Chapter. Survivors are a son, Bonnie Edward Creasy of Tomball, Tex.; three sisters, Lillian B. Garretson, and Ruby Lee Herring, both of New Iberia, and Mattie Lee Herring of Baton Rouge; two grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bonnie Creasy; her parents, John Hancock and Henrietta Littlefield Busby; four brothers, Thomas J. Wilson, Andrew J. Busby, Ben H. Busby, and George L. Busby; and a sister, Lela W. Hale. Pallbearers were David L., John M., Tim G., and John Ray Herring, Troy Garretson, and Jimmy L. Busby. Honorary pallbearers were James R. Herring, and Jack K. Busby. The David Mortuary Inc. of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
