Walter P. Crooks

  Funeral services for Walter P. Crooks, 63, of Zwolle, were held
Wednesday, July 20, in the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Zwolle.
Msgr. Robert Friend officiated. Interment was in the St. Joseph
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of
Many.

  Mr. Crooks died Sunday, July 17, in Zwolle, following a sudden
illness.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elva Crooks of Zwolle; six
sons, Ray Crooks of Alexandria, Charles Crooks of Houston, Tex.,
Ludwig Crooks of the U.S. Army, serving overseas, Harold Crooks
of Zwolle, Freddie Crooks of Alexandria, and Robert Crooks of
Zwolle; four daughters, Mrs. Cleo Iszernack, Mrs. Herman Garcia,
Mrs. Johnnie Walraven, and Miss Linda Crooks, all of Zwolle; two
brothers, Eshman Crooks of Beaumont, Tex., and Cecil Crooks of
Alexandria; his father, Mr. Charlie Crooks of Alexandria; and 19
grandchildren.
