Clara S. Christ

  Services for Mrs. Clara S. Christ, 81, of Haughton, were held at
10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 21, at Rose Neath's Bossier Chapel.
Officiating was the Rev. Rupert Coles, pastor of Haughton United
Methodist Church. Burial followed in Hill Crest Cemetery.

  Mrs. Christ, a native of Choudrant, La., and a resident of
Haughton for the past 54 years, died at 9:30 p.m., Friday, Nov.
18, 1983, at Schumpert Medical Center, following a lengthy
illness. She was a member of Haughton United Methodist Church.

  Survivors include one son, James R. Christ of Haughton; one
daughter-in-law, Christine G. Christ of Bossier; and one brother,
Rufus F. White of Many, La.; seven grandchildren; seven great
grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Russell "Buddy" Christ, Robert Wayne Christ,
Thomas C. Christ, Ronald W. Christ, Richard D. Walker, and Mike
Doherty.
