Crager, 93, of Shreveport, were held at 2 p.m., Monday, January 8, at Wellman Chapel. Rev. Jim Daniels, and Rev. James Miller officiated the services. Interment followed at the Forest Park West Cemetery. Mr. Crager passed away at 9:30 p.m., Friday, January 5, at the Riverside Community Hospital in Bossier, after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Mora, and a resident of Shreveport since 1950. He was a retired Carpenter, and a member of the Haynes Avenue Baptist Church. Mr. Crager is survived by two sons, Thermon Russell Crager of Shreveport, and William Gerald Crager of Sarasota, Florida; two daughters, Dorothy C. Lewis of Shreveport, and Marlene Davis of Leesville; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; one brother, Andrew Crager of Keithville; one sister, Ella Mae Mothershed of Florien; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Mr. Crager's grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were William Addison, Jim Hunt, and Dolan Calk. Family requests memorial contributions be made to the Haynes Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund.
