J. B. Creed

  Funeral services for J. B. Creed, 39, of Destrehan, were held
at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in the Bible Baptist Church, with the Rev.
Wayne Reed, and the Rev. Walter Lord officiating. Burial with
Masonic graveside rites was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, under the
direction of the Hixson Funeral Home.

  Mr. Creed died Sunday.

  Survivors include his widow; three sons, Ricky L. Creed, Gregory
P. Creed, and Gary S. Creed, all of Destrehan; four half-brothers,
J. C. Chance of Hornbeck, Jimmy Creed and Charles Creed, both of
Port Arthur, Tex., and Leroy Creed of Houston, Tex.; two sisters,
Mrs. Christy West of Leesville, and Mrs. Dean Willis of Marero; and
his mother, Mrs. G. L. Palmer of Leesville.
