Walter Creed

  Walter Creed, age 53, U. S. Forest Service employee, died at a
Winnfield hospital last Tuesday. He was a resident of Dry Prong.
Services were held at 2 p.m. last Wednesday, in the First Baptist
Church of Dry Prong. Rev. D. W. Hudnall of Dry Prong officiated.
Interment was in the Dry Prong Cemetery.

  Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Miss Nancy Ann Creed
of Dry Prong; four brothers, Clarence Creed of Jena, Lonnie, and
Sheldon Creed, both of Dry Prong, and W. N. Creed of Many; two
sisters, Mrs. A. C. Faircloth of Colfax, and Mrs. Lolla Jowers of
Roanoke; and his mother, Mrs. W. A. Creed of Dry Prong.
