All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Jim Cordova Funeral services for Jim Cordova of Zwolle, were held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Zwolle, on Tuesday, April 21, at 10 a.m. Msgr. Matthew Scanlon officiated at the services. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were his grandsons, Mike Cordova, James Ezernack, Rickie Brown, Ray Ezernack, John Cordova, Tommy Bebee, Anthony Siller, and Donny Ezernack. Honorary pallbearers were J. T. Meshell; J. V. Martinez, Reece Clinton Parrie, John Deering, Henry Peacock, Lonnie Mora, Bruce Parrie, and Al Siller. Mr. Cordova died in Shreveport on Saturday, April 18, at 11:25 a.m., following a short illness. He was 85. Survivors include three sons, Gilbert J. Cordova of Orange, Tex., Joseph R. Cordova of Amarillo, Tex., and Huey P. Cordova of Zwolle; six daughters, Mrs. Berdie Ezernack of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Ruby Deering of Nederland, Tex., Mrs. Lena Mae Siller of Orange, Tex., Mrs. Dorothy Bebee of Haughton, Mrs. Ida Byrd of Angleton, Tex., and Mrs. Virginia Brown of Stonewall; two brothers, Manuel Cordova, and Tom Cordova, both of Zwolle; a sister, Mrs. Cora Santos of Zwolle; 29 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
