Gertie O. Curtis

  Gertie O. Curlis, 88, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999 at Natchitoches
Parish Hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25 at Many First
Baptist Church with interment following at Zion Hill Cemetery. Dr. Ed
Scott officiated.

  Survivors include one sister, Joella Gandy of Many. She was preceded
in death by four sisters, Inez Fair, Anna Blanche Curtis, Alice Wright
and Daisy Curtis, and by four brothers, Edward Curtis, Eirno Curtis,
Clio Curtis and Alton Curtis.

  Pallbearers were Gary Curtis, Jimmy Curtis, Darrell Curtis, Lennie
Curtis, Charles Wright and Bruce Gandy.
