The Sabine Index - Hoyt Curtis

  13 Mar 1936 - Hoyt Curtis, an esteemed citizen of Negreet,
succumbed Thursday, morning in a Shreveport sanitarium, after
a short illness.  He was laid to rest at Zion Hill cemetery at
Negreet Friday at three o'clock, Rev. J. M. Pate holding the
services.

  Mr. Curtis was 63 years old at the time of his death.  He is
survived by his wife and eight children.  The children are:
Mrs. H. B. Barnes, McRae, Georgia; Leroy Curtis, Rodessa; Riley
Curtis, Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. M. E. Wright, Many; Lynn and
Norman Curtis, Coushatta; Alvin Curtis, Negreet; John Curtis,
Houston, Texas.
