Mrs. Tera Evelyn Curtis

  Mrs. Tera Evelyn Curtis, 71, of Hornbeck, died Saturday, Dec.
29, at 3:30 a.m., after an extended illness.

  She is survived by two sons, Billy, and Bobby Curtis, both of
Hornbeck; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Lofton of Houston; a step-son,
Savoie Curtis of Florien; five sisters, Mrs. Effie Westbrook of
Hornbeck, Mrs. Eula Self of Many, Mrs. Emma Byrd of Florien, Mrs.
Irma Wallace of Odessa, Tex., and Mrs. Juanita Hawkins of
Syracuse, N. Y.; and 12 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held in the Pleasant Hill B. C., with the
Rev. Jason Kay officiating, on Monday, Dec. 31, at 2 p.m.

  Burial was in the Old Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
