The Sabine Index - Mrs. Mary P. Curtis

  9 Jun 1944 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Mary P. Curtis, age 85
years, were held Saturday at Florien Baptist church at 2 p.m.
Rev. J. P. Stockman officiated. Interment was in Florien
cemetery. Massingill funeral home in charge. Pallbearers: D. S.
Leach, S. Y. Addison, O. H. Hildebrand, B. L. Williams, J. N.
Self and Dan Lucius.

  Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. E. L. Williams and Mrs. Ivy
Dowden of Florien and Mrs. H. R. Neel of Sacramento, Calif., one
son, Roy Curtis of Columbas; brother, C. W. Nelson of Florien, 17
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

  Mrs. Curtis passed away at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. E. L. Williams.
