Mrs. Lotus Curtis

  Mrs. Lotus M. Curtis, 77, of Hornbeck, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, in
Groves, Tex.

  Services were held at 5 p.m., in the Pisgah Baptist Church, with
the Rev. E. W. Lord officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah
Cemetery, Hornbeck, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

  Survivors include one son, William E. Curtis, Leesville; one
daughter, Mrs. Eunice L. Fits, Bridge City, Tex.; three brothers,
Slay Murray of Oakdale, W. H. Murry of Houston, Tex., and Dan
Lucius of Florien; five sisters, Mrs. Nita Spencer, and Mrs.
Letitia Lucius of Beaumont, Tex., Mrs. Bessie Childress of
Jasper, Tex., Mrs. Jackie Smith of Alexandria, and Mrs. Tyrone
Harvor of Fort Worth, Tex.; five grandchildren, and 10 great
grandchildren.
