The Sabine Index - Miss Anna Blanche Curtis

  1 Oct 1943 - Miss Anna Blanche Curtis, daughter of E. P.
Curtis, Negreet, died at the family residence, Negreet, following
a brief illness. Miss Curtis had served as postmaster at Negreet
for several years. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist church,
Negreet. She is survived by her father, nine brothers and
sisters, W. E. Curtis, Many; Elmo Curtis, Mirando City, Texas;
Mrs. M. H. Wright, Shreveport; Mrs. W. H. Gandy, Many; A. L.
Curtis, Many; Miss Gertie Curtis, DeRidder and Miss Daisy Curtis,
Natchitoches.

  Funeral services were held at Zion Hill Baptist church,
Negreet, Sunday, Rev. C. W. Williams, Many, officiating.
Interment followed in Zion Hill cemetery under direction Green
funeral home, Many.
