Billy Joe Curtis

  Funeral services for Billy Joe Curtis of Hornbeck, were held
Thursday, Dec. 31, at 2 p.m., at Prewitts Chapel Baptist Church.
Officiating was the Rev. Glen Flannigan. Interment was at
Prewitts Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Curtis died Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Highland Hospital in
Shreveport, at 12:40 a.m., following an extended illness. He was
44.

  He is survived by his widow, Dovie Curtis of Hornbeck; a son,
Billy Wayne Curtis of Hornbeck; a daughter, Deborah Faye Curtis
of Hornbeck; two brothers, Bobby E. Curtis of Hornbeck, and Sovie
Curtis of Florien; and a sister, Betty Lofton of Houston, Tex.
