Alvin Wallace Curtis

  Mr. Alvin Wallace Curtis, 79, of Negreet, died in Many, on Sept.
16, 1986.

  Services will be held today, Thursday, Sept. 18, 1986, at 10
a.m., at the Zion Hill Baptist church, with the Reverends Dan
Jones, Allen Miller, and Earl Guinn officiating. Burial will be
in Zion Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Curtis of Negreet; three
sons, Douglas Curtis of Natchitoches, John Curtis of Houston,
Tex., and Wilbert Curtis of DeRidder; two daughters, Mary Lou
Small of Many, and Helen McCollister of Negreet; one brother,
Norman Curtis of Many; two sisters, Emma Barnes of McRae, Ga.,
and Ester Wright of Many; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Alvin Curtis,
Jr.
