Elmo Curtis

  Funeral services for Mr. Elmo Curtis, 91, were held at the Zion
Hill Baptist Church, on Saturday, August 26, at 10 a.m., with
interment following in the Zion Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Marvin
Lane, and Rev. Jack Kidwell officiated the services.

  Mr. Curtis, who passed away at the Meadow Green Nursing Home in
Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday, August 22, is survived by his wife,
Bertha Curtis of Mirando, Texas; three sons, J. W. Curtis of
McAllen, Texas, Harold Curtis of Humble, Texas, and Lonnie Curtis
of New Braunfels, Texas; one daughter, Roberta Tucker of Dallas,
Texas; one brother, Alton Curtis of Shreveport; three sisters,
Joella Gandy, and Gertie Curtis, both of Many, and Inez Fair of
Baton Rouge; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a host
of nieces and nephews.
