Mrs. Edna Dean Curtis

  Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Dean Curtis, 78, were held at 10
a.m., Saturday, September 22, at Many First Baptist Church.
Interment followed in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Ratcliff officiated.

  Mrs. Dean passed away Wednesday, September 19, at St. Luke
Hospital in Houston, Texas.

  She is survived by two sons, Percy Curtis of Minden, and Jimmy
Curtis of Sherman, Texas; one daughter, Chloe Buvens of Longview,
Texas; one sister, Mary Belle Davis of Many; two brothers, Bill
Dean of Many, and Thomas Dean of Ferriday; seven grandchildren;
one great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
