James Savole Curtis

  Funeral services for Mr. James Savole Curtis, 78, of Florien,
were held Friday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m., at Pisgah Baptist Church.

  The Reverends V. L. Prewitt, and W. T. Love officiated. Burial
was under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Curtis died on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Heritage Manor Nursing
Home #1 of Many.

  Survivors are his wife, Naomi Curtis of Florien; two sons, Jerry
Curtis of Florien, and James Curtis of Ebarb; three daughters,
Joy Brown of Hornbeck, Mary Matthews of Pineville, and Darlene
Reeks of Hornbeck; one sister, Betty Lofton of Houston; one
brother, Bobby Curtis of Shreveport; nine grandchildren; two
great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Merce Almond, Freddie Rivers, Herman Leone,
Andrew C. Sepulvado, Wilbert Laroux, and Louis Sepulvado.
