Bertha Mae Curtis

  Funeral services for Bertha Mae Curtis, 92, of New Braunfels,
Texas, will be held Thursday, Jan. 23, 1997, at Zion Hill Baptist
Church in Negreet, at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Lawrence
Hidalgo, and Rev. G. I. Norris. Interment will be at Zion Hill
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Curtis died Sunday, Jan. 19, at Eden Home Nursing Center in
New Braunfels.

  She is survived by three sons, J. W. Curtis of New Braunfels,
Texas, Harold Curtis of Mirando City, Texas, and Lonnie Curtis of
New Braunfels, Texas; one daughter, Roberta Tucker of Dallas,
Texas; two brothers, Howard Wright of Negreet, and Patrick Wright
of Many; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a host of
nieces and nephews.

  Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Warren
Meadows Funeral Home in Many.
