Curtis, 70, of Many, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, in Many, after a short illness. Services were held at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Perry Lassiter officiating. Burial was in the Zion Hill Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include a son, Riley H. Curtis Jr. of Greensboro, S. C.; one daughter, Mrs. Bob Hall of Shreveport; four brothers, Lynn Curtis of Florien, Alvin Curtis of Negreet, John Curtis of Orange, Tex., and Norman Curtis of Many; two sisters, Mrs. H. B. Barres of MacRay, Ga., and Mrs. Master Wright of Many; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were John Hoyt Curtis, Douglas Curtis, Wilbert Curtis, Eugene Wright, Harlan Wright, and Hoyt Curtis.
