Curtis, 63, who died in Zwolle after a short illness, were held at Ebenezer Baptist Church, at 11 a.m., June 1, with the Rev. Rachel officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery, with Warren Meadows Funeral Home in charge. Survivors are her husband, L. D. Curtis; two sons, Talmadge, and Johnnie Curtis, all of Hornbeck; one daughter, Mrs. Jewel Alt of Washington; two brothers, Alford Jett of Lake Charles, and Joseph Jett of Provencal; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Savell of Florien, and Mrs. Eda Mae Adkinson of Houston; two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Roy Brown, Jackie Savell, Edward Cox, James R. Gentry, Vernon Scroggins, Charles Glaspie.
