Exie Mae Brumley Cardin

  Funeral services for Mrs. Exie Mae Brumley Cardin, 77, were held
Monday, Oct. 26, at 10:30 a.m., at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

  The Reverend J. P. King officiated. Burial was at Mt. Zion
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Cardin died Thursday, Oct. 22, at Union Medical Center in
El Dorado, Arkansas.

  Survivors are one son, James W. Brumley of Brandon, Miss.; two
daughters, Doris Jeanette Cardin of Hobbs, N. M., and Helen Ruth
Barnes of Columbus, Ga.; eight grandchildren; seven great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James
Burton, and Jesse Jones Brumley; and her husband, Doris James (D.
J.) Cardin.

  Pallbearers were Larry Cardin, Robert Frizzell, Les Cardin,
Chuck Frizzell, Danny Cardin, David Cardin, Todd Barnes, and
Tracy Barnes.
