James Norman (Jim) Crittenden

  Funeral services for James Norman (Jim) Crittenden, 57, were
held Monday, Sept. 30, 1996, at 3 p.m., at Shady Grove Church of
God. Interment was at Pine Knott Cemetery, under the direction of
Les Fontaine Funeral Home.

  Mr. Crittenden passed away Sunday, Sept. 29, at his residence.
He was born to Odis and Christine Horn on Jan. 25, 1939.

  He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Horn.

  He is survived by his wife, Jane Love Crittenden of Florien;
five sons, Jimmy Dean Crittenden of Newton, Tex., Christopher
Clay Crittenden of Many, Damon Mark Crittenden of Florien, James
Bart Crittenden, also of Florien, and Jeffery Brian Crittenden of
Many; one daughter, Kelly Jean Barnhill of Many; his father, Odis
Richard Crittenden of Florien; four sisters, Imogene Maddox of
Shreveport, Argerine Smith of Natchitoches, Janice Cobb of
Benton, and Judy Knippers of Many; 11 grandchildren; and a host
of nieces and nephews.
