Thomas L. Carder

  Thomas Lee Carder, 31, of Hornbeck, died Thursday, March 22, in
Fort Polk hospital, of an apparent heart attack. Carder operated
a concession stand at Fort Polk.

  Survivors include his wife, Wanda Lee Switzer Carder of
Hornbeck; one daughter, Denise Lenore Carder of Hornbeck; his
mother, Mrs. Margretha Carder of California; one sister, Mrs.
Cynthia Goodman of California; and two bothers, Howard Carder,
and John Carder of California.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 24, in
Vernon Funeral Home of Leesville, with the Rev. Samuel Pruitt,
pastor of Tower Trailer Park Mission, officiating. Burial with
military graveside rites was in Oak Grove Cemetery at Hornbeck.
