The Sabine Index - James William Carter

  9 Aug 1957 - Funeral services for James William Carter, age 66,
who died at Belmont, Monday, Aug. 5 was conducted at Belmont
Baptist church at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6 with Rev. Oliver Roberts
officiating. Interment was in church cemetery under the direction
of Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are wife, Mrs. J. W. Carter of Belmont, sons, James
B., Pleasant Hill, Julian D. of Shreveport, Billy Frank and Glen
Carter of Belmont; daughters, Mrs. Margaret Yates of Belmont,
Miss Margarie Carter of Shreveport; brother E. T. Carter,
Belmont; sisters, Mrs. W. O. Skinner, Miss Mae Carter both of
Belmont, Mrs. H. S. Sebren of Shreveport and three
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers Jim Webb, Jim Campbell, Chester Howard, Oscar
Cooper, R. A. Haley and George Cook.
