James V. Carter

  Funeral services for James V. Carter, 45, of Converse, were held
Thursday, Dec. 12, at 2:30 p.m., in the Belmont Baptist Church,
with the Rev. J. P. King officiating. Burial was in the Belmont
Cemetery, under the direction of the Drewett Funeral Home of
Mansfield.

  Mr. Carter's body was found Tuesday, in his trailer home on
Toledo Bend Lake.

  Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Kay Carter of Shreveport;
mother, Mrs. Clara Carter of Belmont; three brothers, Billy
Carter and Glen Carter, both of Belmont, and J. D. Carter of
Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Roberts of Natchitoches, and
Mrs. Gerald C. Yates of Belmont.
