Officiating at the services were the Rev. J. P. King, and the Rev. Guy Burr. Burial was in the Old Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Miss Carter died in Pleasant Hill Friday, May 14, after an extended illness. Her body was taken to the Church Friday, at 12:30 p.m., to lie in state until service time Saturday. Survivors are a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Billy Collins, O. R. Nash, Glen Howard, Joe S. Skinner, R. A. Haley, Edgar Stevenson, J. Remedies, and Jim Peterson.
