The Sabine Index - Amelia P. Carter

  10 Oct 1952 - Funeral services for Amelia P. Carter, 77, who
died at 12 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, oat Converse were held at 10 a.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Converse Baptist church by Rev. Jerry
Schmucker. Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery under the direction
of Warren funeral home.

  Pallbearers were Joe D. Brown, DeWitt Patrick Roe Patrick,
Fred McDonald, Horace Whiteherst and J. B. Sherwood.

  Surviving relatives include: sons, Edward Milton
Bailew, of Converse; sisters, Mrs. ? Harper, of Converse, Mrs.
Rebecca Sherwood of Converse, Mrs. J. A. Causey, of Shreveport;
brother, Walter Patrick, of Converse; two grandchildren and one
great grandchild.
