Jerry Carter

  Jerry Donald Carter, 34, of Robeline, died in Houston, Tex.,
Thursday, Sept. 2, at 9:30 p.m., after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held at the Warren Meadows Chapel, Sunday,
Sept. 5, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Richard Johnson officiating.
Interment was in the Old Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his wife, Sybil Carter of Robeline; four sons,
Jerry Donald II, Kristopher Gene, Lucian Scott, and Nathaniel
Clifton, all of Robeline; his mother, Mrs. Vera Bennett of
Robeline; one half-sister, Opal Forsythe of Shreveport; one
half-brother, Ronnie Hayes of Winnfield; step-brother, Cerell
Hayes of Robeline; step-sister, Bobbie Berry of Natchitoches, and
his step-father, Cliff Hayes of Natchitoches.
