Nora James Carter

  Mrs. Nora James Carter of Shreveport, died Saturday, May 8, at
6:55, at Willis Knighton Hospital in Shreveport, due to an
extended illness. She was 82.

  Funeral services were held at Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel, Tuesday, May 11, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Joe Ratcliff
officiating. Burial was at Many Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Matthew Wodatz of
Shreveport; a son, Robert L. James of Newport Beach, Calif.; four
grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
