Marvin Milton Carter

  Funeral services for Mr. Marvin Milton Carter, 76, were held at
2 p.m., Thursday, February 15, in the Union Baptist Church.
Interment followed in the Belmont Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Garrett officiated
the services.

  Mr. Carter passed away Monday, February 12, at LSU Medical
Center in Shreveport.

  He is survived by one son, Doug Carter of Belmont; one daughter,
Barbara Remedez of Belmont; three sisters, Malva Horn of Florien,
and Loyce Hayes, and Joyce Edsell, both of Shreveport; four
grandchildren, Jayla Remedez, Robin Carter, Bryan Carter, and
Kevin Carter; and two great grandchildren, Chris Carter, and Lacy
Carter.
