Claude R. Carter

  Claude R. Carter, 62, of Many, died Jan. 25, in Shreveport,
after a short illness.

  Funeral services were conducted Jan. 26, at Beulah Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Claude Carter of Many; two
sons, Roland, and Ronald Carter, both of Many; three daughters,
Mrs. Boston Arthur of Many, Mrs. Roy Hildebrand of Mansfield, and
Mrs. Louise Wooley of Jasper, Tex.; two brothers, Sam Carter of
New Orleans, and Doyle Carter of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs.
L. M. Enloe of Orange, Tex., Mrs. E. A. Rhodes of Houma, and Mrs.
Lee Mouser of Springhill; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were George Salter, Robert Speights, Coleman Sibley,
Jerry Salter, T. M. Phillips, and Claude Anthony.
