Richard D. Carter

  Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Oct. 30, for Richard
D. Carter, 78, who died Oct. 28, after a lengthy illness.

  The services were held in Warren Funeral Home Chapel, with the
Rev. Cecil Sally officiating.

  Burial was in Springridge Cemetery, with Warren Funeral Home in
charge.

  Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Phronia Beard of
Shreveport, Mrs. Lucille Sanders of Pleasant Hill, and Mrs. Mary
Nelson of Springhill, La.

  Pallbearers were Curt Jamison, Charles Boyce, Willis Meeks,
Cecil Sanders, D. Chapman, and J. L. Sanders.
