Hester Leona Carter

  Last rites for Hester Leona Carter, age 71, who died June 7,
were conducted at Belmont Baptist Church, at 2 p.m., June 8, with
Rev. O. S. Roberts officiating. Interment was in Belmont
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are sons, Jack, and Marvin Carter, both of Belmont;
daughters, Mrs. Malva Horn of Many, Mrs. G. L. Edsell of
Shreveport, Mrs. Richard Hayes of Bossier City, Miss Camilla
Carter of Belmont; brother, Rev. J. C. Haley of Natchitoches;
sister, O. C. Heard of Belmont; 21 grandchildren; 11 great
grandchildren.
