All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** James Virgil Carter James Virgil Carter, 45, of Converse, was found dead in his trailer near Toledo Bend Lake on Tuesday, Dec. 10, sometime after 5 p.m., according to the Sabine Parish Sheriff's Dept. "Somebody noticed that Carter's truck was parked in his yard, and the keys were still in it," Sheriff Cook said. "They contacted Converse Chief of Police Bobby Brumley, and in turn Brumley contacted Carter's relatives." The relatives went to the trailer, opened it, and found Carter on the bed. According to the Sheriff, the relatives called a doctor, who pronounced his death due to natural causes. The doctor did note that Carter was bleeding internally.
