The Sabine Index - Luther Corley

  13 Mar 1969 - Luther Corley, 76, of Florien died March 4 in
Many following a short illness.

  Funeral services were held March 5 in the Mt. Carmel Baptist
Church at 21 p.m. with the Rev. O. S. Robert, the Jerry
Schumucker officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Luther Corley of
Florien, three daughters, Mrs. Alton Wagley of Nome, Tex., Mrs.
R. A. Rodgers of Shreveport, and Mrs. W. A. Ricks of Florien;
three brothers, Bernice Corley of Natchitoches, the Rev. O. M.
Corley of Ft. Worth, Tex., and Rufus Corley of Florien; two
sisters Mrs. C. A. Jones of Patterson and Mrs. Otha Miller of
Florien; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were his grandsons.
