(Aunt Kate) Corley 9 May 1952 - Funeral rites for Mrs. M. Z. (Aunt Kate) Corley, who expired at the home of her brother, E. A. Ford, Friday, were held at Antioch Baptist church 10 a.m. Saturday by Revs. Glen Marr and Coda Salter. Interment was under direction Warren funeral home. Pallbearers were Roy Turpin, Jr., Huey Corley, Sigman Corley, Gordon Anthony, Howard Anthony and Howard Salter. Mrs. Corley, a life-long resident of Sabine parish is survived by a daughter, Mrs. R. A. Sanders, Florien; sons; Archie R. Corley, Shreveport, Curtis C. Corley, Washington, D. C., Marion Corley, Many Jessie and Leo Corley, Florien; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Those from out-of-town attending the funeral of Mrs. Corley included: Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Corley, Mr and Mrs. Lee Corley, Jr., Herman McConathy, Mrs. Jewel Hildebrand and Mrs. Florence Salter, all of Shreveport; Mrs. Gladys May and family, Mrs. Lee Ford, Mrs. Edna West and Tom Ford all of Leesville; Pfc. Conrod Corley, Ralph Salter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Turpin, Jr., and family, all of Lake Charles; John M. Corley, Fort Hood, Texas; Patsy Corley, Ruston, Mrs. Emma McConathy, DeRidder; Rev. and Mrs. Coda Salter, Pineville; Woodrow Salter, Zwolle.
