Nevia (John) Carroll

  Nevia (John) Carroll, 63, of Florien, died Friday, Oct. 29, at
1:45 a.m., in Shreveport, following an extended illness.

  Survivors are his wife, Nancy Carroll of Florien; three
daughters, Mrs. Gale Moore of Hornbeck, Mrs. Joal Beason, and
Mrs. Exia Jordan of Florien; a son, Tommy Carroll of Fisher; two
sisters, Mrs. Louise Peterson of Many, and Mrs. Gladys Dutton,
Houston, Tex.; and twelve grandchildren.

  Services were held in Gandy Baptist Church Saturday, Oct. 30, at
2 p.m., with Rev. Joe Shaver, and Rev. M. A. Neely officiating.
Interment was in Florien cemetery, with Warren Meadows Funeral
Home officiating.
